Official Opening of new facilities for TSDL Clubs
The CEO of the FAI John Delaney, Ray Houghton, Packie Bonnar and manager Giovanni Trapattoni will be kept busy over the next week. Apart from keeping the image of St. Michael's AFC excellent facilities at Cooke Park, Rosanna Road, Tipperary town (where Irish Senior team is using for training) in the spotlight they will be officiating at the opening of new facilities of 3 of the Tipperary Southern & District League Clubs:
- Today (Sunday) at 3pm they will visit Two Mile Borris AFC excellent facilities at Newhill Park on the old Dublin-Cork road just outside Littleton where they will open their new All-weather pitch.
- Tomorrow (Monday) at 7pm it will be the turn of St. Nicholas AFC. The Solohead Club will be in the spotlight as they officially open their brand new facilities in Bohertrine beside Jimmy White’s Pub followed by a friendly against their near neighbours St. Michael's.
- On Tuesday at 5.30 pm it’s the turn of Peake Villa AFC. The Thurles Club who have excellent playing facilities at the Tower Ground, Loughtagalla will be officially opening their All-weather facilities.
Well done to these and of course all the other Clubs that participate in the Tipperary Southern & District League who are bringing amateur soccer in the Rep of Ireland to a new level?
