West Waterford/East Cork versus Tipperary Southern & District League

This tie with the WWEC that was called off due to weather some weeks back that has cost the TSDL ‘home’ advantage has been rescheduled for Cappoquin this coming Saturday under lights with a 7 pm kick-off.

With the other league in Group 3 - the Munster Senior League - defeating West Waterford/East Cork 3-1 and having ‘home’ advantage in Cork against the TSDL in their final game in two weeks time, it makes this game a must win if the TSDL have any hope of progressing to the knock-out stages.

The new manager of the TSDL and former St. Michael's player/manager Barry Ryan will be aware of the task in hand knowing that all three points being required and therefore will be hoping that the scenario of last minute withdrawals will not be a problem.

Remember that only this competition is also the ‘window’ of opportunity for any player wishing to make the Rep of Ireland squad that will be selected from ‘junior leagues’ for the 2010 Quadrangular Tournament being staged in Northern Ireland.
