Joe Delaney Cup 2010
Youth Cup Preview
The Joe Delaney Cup kicks off on Saturday 1 May with the four top teams in the TSDL facing four of their counterparts from NTDL.
This competition, which was the brainchild of TSDL Hon Secretary Tom Lewis to help develop Under 18 football in the Premier County is named after one of the county’s best known FAI administrators Joe Delaney of Tipp town back in 2006.
It so far has seen the TSDL dominate with Clonmel Town winning it twice and St. Michael's winning last season.
The opening round sees a rematch between holders St. Michael's at home to last season’s finalists Nenagh Celtic. The winners of this will travel to either Nenagh FC or Clerihan in the semi-final.
In the other half of the draw Cahir Park entertains Arra Rovers with the winners travelling to Ardcroney or Clonmel Town.
