History:
This competition was the brainchild of Tipperary Southern & District League Hon. Secretary Tom Lewis in 2006. It has brought the two leagues in Co. Tipperary and its enviorns that has operated independently since 1977 back together in over thirty years in order to try and revive soccer at youth (Under 18) level. The Cup is named after one of County Tipperary’s best known FAI Administrators, Mr Joe Delaney from Tipperary town (father of FAI CEO John Delaney).
The set-up is four Youth teams from the Tipperary Southern & District League (TSDL) compete against four from the North Tipperary & District League (NTDL).

2007-08 Clonmel Town (TSDL) beat St. Michael’s (TSDL)
2008-09 St. Michael’s FC (TSDL) beat Nenagh Celtic (NTDL)
2009-10 St. Michael’s FC (TSDL) beat Cahir Park (TSDL)
2010-11 Cahir Park FC (TSDL) beat Nenagh AFC (NTDL)
2011-12 Clonmel Town (TSDL) beat Nenagh AFC (NTDL)
