Clonmel Celtic support anti racism message for FARE week

The Clonmel Celtic side who played in the Clonmel derby at the weekend sporting the FAI sponsored Football Against Racism in Europe bibs that they warmed up in before the game.

As Ireland becomes an increasingly multi-cultural society, more and more non Irish nationals are embracing the global language of football as a means of integrating into the Irish nation. Given our own history of emigration, we must do what we can to embrace these changes and clubs like Clonmel Celtic should be recognised for their commitment to this initiative.

The TSDL would welcome all its clubs taking part in FAI sponsored initiatives like this into the future, and information about these is always available from FAI Headquarters in Abbotstown, Dublin.

More information on the initiative can be found at the links below.
