Division 3 Shield Semi Final

Dualla 3 – 1 Cashel Town B

Dualla booked their place in the Division 3 Shield Final after coming from behind to defeat Cashel Town B 3–1 in an entertaining semi-final clash.

Cashel made the perfect start and stunned the home side inside five minutes when James Harding struck from the edge of the area, his effort flying straight to the net to give Cashel the early advantage.

Despite the early setback, Dualla gradually settled into the contest. Both teams created chances throughout the remainder of the first half, but Cashel defended well and carried their 1–0 lead into the break.

Dualla emerged from half-time with renewed intensity and were rewarded on 53 minutes when Pauric Ryan latched onto a perfectly weighted through ball before finishing confidently past the advancing keeper to level the game.

The momentum had clearly swung and Dualla pushed forward again on 70 minutes when Paulius Alexnavicius fired them into the lead with a clinical finish inside the box.

Cashel threw players forward late in the game in search of an equaliser, but Dualla’s defence stood firm. The victory was sealed in the 85th minute when Alexnavicius grabbed his second of the game, slotting calmly into the bottom corner to confirm a 3–1 win.

Verdict:
Dualla’s second-half dominance proved decisive as they powered into the Division 3 Shield Final.

Friday the 15th of May 2026 3rd Division 2 Youth Cup Final

Mullinahone 0 – 5 SC&K
Venue: The Bypass, Clonmel Celtic

SC&K produced a superb performance to claim the Division 2 Youth Cup with a commanding 5–0 victory over Mullinahone.

Mullinahone started well and put early pressure on SC&K through a series of set pieces. However, SC&K struck with their first meaningful attack when Lukey Condon switched play to Paddy Power, whose driven cross deflected off a Mullinahone defender and into the net for the opening goal.

SC&K doubled their lead fifteen minutes before half-time when referee Mark Jordan awarded a penalty for handball. Lukey Condon stepped up confidently and converted from the spot to make it 2–0 at the break.

The second half saw SC&K push on and they effectively sealed the contest when Paddy Power finished smartly from a corner delivery to make it three.

Mullinahone were given a chance to get back into the contest with a penalty of their own, but the effort sailed over the crossbar.

SC&K’s fourth goal was arguably the pick of the night when Adam Blanchfield connected brilliantly with a ball over his shoulder, producing a superb finish.

Paddy Power completed the scoring with a composed strike from a tight angle to cap a memorable night for SC&K.

Captains Anthony Boyle and Sean Hughes proudly lifted the trophy after an outstanding team display.

Verdict:
A dominant and clinical performance saw SC&K deservedly lift the Division 2 Youth Cup.

Saturday the 16th of May FAI Senior Cup – Round 1

St Michaels 1 – 3 Janesboro (AET)

St Michaels bowed out of the FAI Senior Cup after a dramatic encounter with Limerick side Janesboro that required extra time to separate the sides.

Janesboro struck early when Joshua O’Rahelly found space at the back post to convert from close range after just ten minutes.

The Saints responded well and created several chances through David Slattery, DJ Cremins, and Daniel O’Dwyer, but the visitors defended resolutely.

With time running out, St Michaels finally found the breakthrough on 88 minutes when Daniel O’Dwyer headed home from a corner to send the tie into extra time.

The game became increasingly heated with red cards shown to both sides late in normal time. In extra time Janesboro regained the lead when Dylan Moriarty finished after being played through by Shane Clarke.

Moriarty later converted a penalty late on to seal a 3–1 victory and send Janesboro into Round Two.

Verdict:
St Michaels battled bravely but Janesboro’s extra-time quality proved the difference.

Saturday the 16th of May Premier League Shield Semi Final

Cashel Town 1 – 3 Two Mile Borris

Two-Mile Borris produced a powerful first-half display to defeat Cashel Town 3–1 and secure their place in the Premier League Shield Final.

Borris made an ideal start when Jake Jordan opened the scoring early in the game. Their attacking momentum continued as Urban Nolan doubled the advantage before the break.

Cashel struggled to contain the visitors and the tie appeared almost settled before half-time when Jack Purcell added a third goal.

Cashel Town responded after the interval and managed to pull one back through Lee Riordan, giving the home side a glimmer of hope. However, Borris remained composed defensively and saw the game out comfortably.

Verdict:
A devastating first-half performance put Two-Mile Borris firmly in control and ultimately secured their place in the final.

Sunday the 17th of May Premier League Shield Semi Final

Cahir Park 0 – 4 Peake Villa

Peake Villa delivered an impressive performance to overcome Cahir Park and reach the Premier League Shield Final with a convincing 4–0 victory.

Villa began the game on the front foot, creating several early opportunities. Their pressure paid off on 20 minutes when Pippy Carroll reacted quickest following a fine save by the Cahir goalkeeper to tap home the opening goal.

Cahir responded well for periods of the first half but struggled to create clear chances as Peake carried a 1–0 lead into the break.

The visitors struck again almost immediately after the restart when Ronan McGuire finished from close range to double the advantage in the 47th minute.

Any hopes of a Cahir comeback disappeared on the hour mark when Peter O’Dowd added a third. Jack Kelly completed the scoring in the 85th minute to cap a dominant Villa display.

Verdict:
Peake Villa’s attacking quality and control throughout the match secured a comfortable passage to the final.

Sunday the 17th of May Division 2

St Nicholas 0 – 5 Suirside

Suirside produced a strong attacking display to secure an emphatic 5–0 victory away to St Nicholas.

From early in the contest Suirside controlled possession and consistently created scoring opportunities. Their attacking movement and clinical finishing proved too much for the home side as they built a commanding lead and never looked back.

St Nicholas battled throughout but struggled to contain Suirside’s attacking threat, with the visitors comfortably seeing out the match to record a convincing five-goal win.

Verdict:
Suirside dominated from start to finish to record an impressive away victory.

Sunday the 17th of May Division 3

SC&K B 1 – 4 St Michaels B

St Michaels B finished their season on a high with a strong 4–1 victory away to SC&K B.

The visitors opened the scoring midway through the first half when a defensive mix-up resulted in an own goal.

Shortly before half-time Zach O’Halloran doubled the advantage with a spectacular strike from 25 yards to give St Michaels a comfortable lead at the interval.

The visitors extended their lead in the second half when Mikey Bowes converted from the penalty spot before Ciaran Howe added a fourth to put the game beyond doubt.

SC&K B managed a late consolation when Luke Keyes tapped home from close range following a cross from Darragh Dempsey.

Verdict:
St Michaels B finished their campaign strongly with a commanding away performance.

Sunday the 17th of May Division 2 Shield Semi Final

Oldbridge 0 – 5 Cahir Park B

Cahir Park B powered into the Division 2 Shield Final after a dominant 5–0 victory over Oldbridge.

The visitors took control early when Kenny Cunningham opened the scoring in the 16th minute with a strike from the edge of the area.

Cunningham doubled the advantage shortly before half-time after some slack defending from Oldbridge, although goalkeeper Peter Carroll produced several excellent saves to keep the scoreline respectable.

Any hopes of an Oldbridge comeback were ended early in the second half when David Halpin made it three.

John O’Regan added a fourth with twelve minutes remaining before Kenny Cunningham completed his hat-trick in the 80th minute.

Verdict:
A dominant Cahir Park B performance sees them comfortably into the Division 2 Shield Final.

Sunday the 17th of May Division 2 Shield Semi Final

Mullinahone 5 – 0 Vee Rovers

Mullinahone delivered a clinical performance to secure their place in the Division 2 Shield Final with an emphatic 5–0 victory over Vee Rovers.

The home side were in control throughout the contest, playing with confidence and attacking intent. Mullinahone’s forward line proved extremely effective as they built a commanding lead and kept Vee Rovers on the back foot for the majority of the match.

Despite Vee Rovers’ best efforts, Mullinahone’s quality in the final third proved decisive as they comfortably advanced to the final.

Verdict:
A convincing and professional performance sees Mullinahone march into the Shield Final.
