To all secretaries: Please be advised that entry for the 2025/26 Munster Football Associations Competitions (Munster Senior Cup, Munster Junior Cup, Munster Junior Shield, Munster Youth Cup & Munster U17 Cup) has now opened.
*Closing date for all competitions is Friday 29th August.*
– Entry for all competitions will be processed through FAI Connect.
– Payment for these competitions are to be made directly to the MFA by Electronic Transfer (Bank Details Below)
- Munster Senior Cup €50.
- Munster Junior Cup €50.
- Munster Junior Shield €50.
- Munster Youth Cup €30,
- Munster U17 Cup €30
When making payment please reference the team and competition you are paying for on the payment.
– Entry will not be approved by the MFA on FAI Connect until payment is made.
– It is the responsibility of the club secretary to review all answers and make sure all information is clear and accurate on the FAI Connect Entry Form.
*IMPORTANT INFORMATION – Munster Youth Cup & Munster U17 Cup*
As corresponded earlier in the National Cup Alignment email both the FAI Under 17 Cup and the FAI Youth Cup will begin their National Phase with the Round of 32 in January 2026.
Participating teams in those 2 competitions will be determined via the Munster U17 Cup & Munster Youth Cup.
Allocations from each province into the last 32 will be proportionate to the entry levels, this will determine how far each province must progress before national qualification. There may be a need to hold Prelim qualifiers in Dec 2025 to finalise the 32 teams advancing.
*The Munster U17 Cup is for U17 teams only and the Munster Youth Cup is for Youth teams only.*
