Division 1 Mid Season Review 2025 – 2026

Is this possibly the Most Unpredictable Division again

Galbally United

One of the most consistent sides in the league. Strong second halves and clinical finishing have driven their promotion push.
Surprise result: Dominant away wins underline their promotion credentials.

Wilderness Rovers

Physical, relentless and fearless. Rovers have been involved in some of the season’s most dramatic fixtures, including late goals and cup thrillers.
Surprise result: Narrow cup defeats despite strong performances.

Tipperary Town

When Tipp Town start fast, they dominate. Defensive improvements late in the year have stabilised their campaign.
Surprise result: Heavy cup wins showing attacking depth.

Bansha Celtic

Capable of explosive attacking football but inconsistent. When momentum builds, they look dangerous.
Surprise result: High-scoring victories after periods of poor form.

SC&K United

A side of strong character. They have fought back from losing positions repeatedly, showing resilience even when results don’t fully reflect performances.
Surprise result: Dramatic late equalisers and comeback draws.

Ballingarry

Well organised and experienced. Ballingarry have ground out results effectively, especially at home.
Surprise result: Big wins in tightly contested fixtures.

Powerstown

Powerstown have shown tremendous spirit, often battling back late in games. Conversion rate has cost them points.
Surprise result: Missed penalties and late drama defining their season.

Two Mile Borris B

Two Mile Borris B have become the division’s true wild card. They have the pace and aggression to upset stronger sides, and the comeback win vs Powerstown confirmed their growth in maturity and game management.
They may not be in the promotion scrap yet — but they could decide it, taking points off rivals at the wrong (or right) time.

Division 1 Verdict:
Still wide open. Galbally and Wilderness lead, but Tipperary Town, Bansha and SC&K remain very much in contention.

This division will not be won by brilliance alone — it will be won by whoever avoids dropping points to the disruptors.
