Hi All,
If you could please pass onto all your leagues a reminder that the Winter
Re-Registration Window for the 23/24 Season closes Midnight this Saturday 23 rd
September
Here are some helpful tips to ensure Transfers will be APPROVED by the FAI
Connect Team.
1. Have the Player Registration Form signed, uploaded along with all
other mandatory documents/photos.
2. Save the Registration in the status SUBMITTED prior to the Deadline.
We apologise for the back log of Registrations and are working extremely
hard on reducing the turn around time it takes to register/transfer
players.
We are receiving a lot of queries from clubs, wondering will their
registrations/transfers be processed beyond the deadline.
To help give clarity on what transfers will be Approved/Rejected after the Deadline
please see the below scenarios.
Scenario 1: GREEN/GREEN
*WE WILL APPROVE*
Both teams have processed the Registration i.e. Releasing Club has
TERMINATED and the New Club has SUBMITTED.
Scenario 2: GREEN/ORANGE
*WE WILL APPROVE*
*If the Releasing Club has TERMINATED the player prior to the Deadline. The
player will be allowed to move to the New Club as they were correctly
TERMINATED within the Re-Registration period. The new club should save the
Registration as SUBMITTED ASAP to Register the player.
Scenario 3: ORANGE/ GREEN
*WE WILL APPROVE*
*If the New Club has SUBMITTED the player prior to the Deadline. The player
will be allowed to move to the New Club as they were correctly SUBMITTED
within the Re-Registration period. However, the Transfer will not be
processed until the Releasing club either TERMINATES the Registration
within 7 days (even beyond the deadline) or until after 7 days has passed
and the FAI Connect team process the registration.
Scenario 4: ORANGE/ORANGE
*WE WILL CANCEL(REJECT)*
*If the New Club has the registration still in the *ENTERED* status beyond
the Deadline. The player will not be allowed to move to the New Club as
they were not correctly SUBMITTED within the Re-Registration period.
However, if the New Club had the registration form signed and uploaded
correctly prior to the deadline and the Registration was returned to
ENTERED for reason(s) such as blurry Photo ID or mandatory Player Profile
Photo required then the Registration will be *APPROVED*.
