Clonmel Town 2 – 1 Peake Villa (Youth Division 1)

Clonmel Town’s Youths produced another dramatic late show at the Complex to claim all three points against a spirited Peake Villa side. Villa struck first three minutes before half-time when Jason Patterson raced clear and lofted a clever finish beyond Nathan Guckla. Town pressed hard after the break and eventually levelled when Zultan Gaza’s corner curled straight into the net on 71 minutes. With time nearly up, Patrick Galka was fouled in the box deep into injury time, and up stepped Ruben Grace to hold his nerve and slot home the winning penalty in the 97th minute.

Verdict: Town’s persistence and belief shone through again as Grace’s late penalty sealed another thrilling comeback victory.

Clerihan 0 – 6 St Michaels (Youth Division 2)

St Michaels dominated from start to finish in this one-sided encounter, showing sharpness in attack and composure throughout. Aaron Brazil helped himself to a brace, while Jamie Brunnock, Davy Hogan, Donagh Guilfoyle and Denis Cremins also found the target. Clerihan fought gamely but were outclassed by the visitors’ fluent passing and clinical finishing.

Verdict: Michaels were in full flow and simply too strong for Clerihan, running out convincing winners.

Mullinahone 2 – 5 Cahir Park (Youth Division 2)

This was an entertaining end-to-end game that swung decisively after an early red card for Mullinahone. The hosts started brightly and went in front through Dylan Hennessy, but Cahir Park responded instantly. The sending off of Hennessy midway through the first half tilted the balance, and Cahir moved ahead before the break. Mullinahone levelled right after half-time through Ned O’Meara, but Cahir’s numerical advantage told in the final quarter as Conor Collins and Tiernan Power both struck twice and Josh Davy added another to secure a 5–2 win.

Verdict: Cahir Park’s extra man made the difference in an open and lively game full of attacking football.

SC&K United 1 – 1 Clonmel Celtic (Youth Division 2)

Slievenamon Celtic/Kilsheelan United made a blistering start when Sean Hughes ran through on seven minutes and finished neatly inside the post. The home side were unlucky not to double their lead before the interval as they struck the crossbar. Celtic came back strong in the second half, forcing several corners, and equalised late on when Sean Kiely pounced from close range after a double save by Darragh Dempsey in the home goal.

Verdict: A well-contested draw between two talented sides, with Celtic’s late pressure earning them a deserved point.

Shanbally 4 – 3 Cashel Town (Youth Division 2)

A high-scoring thriller saw Shanbally edge out Cashel Town in an end-to-end contest, with both sides trading goals throughout in an excellent display of attacking football.

Verdict: Shanbally held on in a pulsating encounter that could have gone either way.

Cashel Town 1 – 3 St Michaels (Premier League)

St Michaels put in a strong away performance to claim a valuable three points in Cashel. Early goals from Jimmy Carr and Ed Dwyer gave the visitors control by half-time. Cashel fought back after the restart, and Lee Riordan halved the deficit from the penalty spot. Any hopes of a comeback were snuffed out when Carr added his second on 70 minutes to wrap up the points.

Verdict: Michaels’ clinical edge and early dominance proved decisive in a competitive game.

Clonmel Celtic 2 – 0 Cahir Park (Premier League)

Clonmel Celtic turned in one of their best performances of the season with a composed home win. David Morrissey opened the scoring after just three minutes following excellent work from Ayo Williams, and the hosts dominated the first half with slick passing and constant pressure. Early in the second half, Shane Garland was fouled in the area and made no mistake from the spot to double the lead. From there, Celtic’s organisation and defensive discipline kept Cahir Park at bay to secure all three points.

Verdict: A confident and controlled display from Celtic, mixing early flair with strong defensive resilience.

Clonmel Town 0 – 2 Peake Villa (Premier League)

After meeting in the cup a week earlier, Peake Villa once again came out on top against Clonmel Town. The first half was tightly contested with few chances, though Villa’s Jack Alyward clipped the bar with a spectacular strike from distance. Villa stepped up their intensity after the break and were rewarded when substitute Pippy Carroll nodded a corner back across goal for Ronan McGuire to head home. The pair combined again late on, McGuire turning provider for Carroll to seal the win ten minutes from time.

Verdict: Peake Villa’s patience and second-half quality earned them a deserved victory against a determined Town side.

Wilderness Rovers 1 – 1 Powerstown (Division 1)

Local bragging rights were shared after a gritty derby between Wilderness Rovers and Powerstown. The visitors struck early through John Alan Lowes, who broke the offside trap and finished calmly. Wilderness responded with determination and levelled before the break when David Cagney rifled home after fine build-up play from Thomas Hill. The second half saw Wilderness press hard, twice denied by goal-line clearances, while Powerstown threatened from set pieces but couldn’t find a winner.

Verdict: A hard-fought draw that showcased the commitment and rivalry between two evenly matched local sides.

Tipperary Town 2 – 0 SC&K United (Division 1)

Tipperary Town exploded out of the blocks with two goals in the opening five minutes, both crafted by Alex Mason and finished clinically by Olek — the second a stunning strike into the top corner. SC&K rallied and won two penalties, but one was blazed over and the other superbly saved by keeper Eric Higgins. With Liam Murphy marshalling a solid defence, Tipp saw out the game to record a well-earned clean sheet.

Verdict: An energetic start and solid defence ensured Tipp Town claimed a crucial home win.

Galbally 5 – 1 Bansha Celtic (Division 1)

Galbally were in ruthless form, storming into a four-goal half-time lead. Captain Ger Quinlan struck after just 60 seconds, followed by Eoin McGrath and Peter Morrissey with composed finishes. Quinlan’s second made it four before the break. Bansha improved after half-time and pulled one back via an own goal, but Quinlan completed his hat-trick on 75 minutes after a slick move down the left from Cathal Flynn.

Verdict: Galbally’s first-half blitz and Quinlan’s hat-trick powered them to an emphatic win.

Peake Villa B 1 – 0 Cahir Park B (Division 2)

Peake Villa B edged a tense, high-quality contest at the Tower Grounds against fellow title contenders Cahir Park B. Both keepers were in inspired form, with Shane McGuire pulling off a superb early save to tip a 25-yard volley over the bar. Villa began to take control and broke the deadlock on 28 minutes when Tristan Kelly’s free-kick was flicked on by Eoin O’Dwyer and finished smartly by Liam McCormack. Cahir pressed hard in the closing stages but found McGuire and his defence in defiant mood as Villa held on to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

Verdict: A superb team effort from Villa, whose discipline and defensive solidity earned them a massive three points.

Tipperary Town B 4 – 4 Burncourt (Division 3)

An eight-goal thriller saw Tipperary Town B and Burncourt share the spoils in a wildly entertaining contest full of twists and attacking football.

Verdict: A goal fest that had everything; both sides will feel they might have snatched it.

Donohill & District 1 – 2 St Michaels B (Division 3)

St Michaels B claimed a valuable away win in Donohill in a game that was closely contested from start to finish, with the visitors’ sharper finishing proving the difference.

Verdict: A hard-earned victory for Michaels B, who showed resilience to edge out a spirited home side.

Mullinahone B 1 – 6 Cashel Town (Division 3)

Cashel Town dominated the first half, scoring five unanswered goals as they overwhelmed their hosts. Mullinahone improved after the interval and grabbed a consolation through Jack Fitzpatrick, but Cashel struck again late to underline their superiority. Craig Doyle Carroll netted twice, with further goals from Ian Hahessey, David O’Dwyer, Cathal Quinn and Guido Angeloni.

Verdict: A comprehensive display from Cashel, who were clinical and relentless in front of goal.

SC&K United B 2 – 2 Dualla (Division 3)

Slievenamon Celtic/Kilsheelan United B and Dualla served up a dramatic draw in Ballypatrick. After a tight opening, Evan Forristal pounced on a goalkeeper’s error to put the hosts ahead just before half-time. Dualla equalised from the penalty spot through Tossy Ryan before Paddy Murphy restored the home advantage on 70 minutes. Dualla refused to yield and levelled again when Shane Tarrant headed home ten minutes from time. Both sides hit the woodwork late on in a thrilling finale.

Verdict: A gripping contest that could have gone either way, with both teams showing real attacking intent.
